“No Sin Evades His Gaze are one of the most exciting new bands in the UK.” – Dom Lawson, Metal Hammer (June 2014)

No Sin Evades His Gaze are a metal act hailing from London, And Blackpool in the UK.

Comprising members from various bands including ex-Ravenface and ex-Bleedineg Oath, the project was founded mid 2013 by vocalist James Denton. The band’s debut album “Age Of Sedation” was released  in July 2014, alongside a music video for the title-track, receiving critical acclaim from the likes of Metal Hammer Magazine “….NSEHG are the future of heavy tech…” and The Guardian “..Whilst it’s slightly sickening that people so young can play their instruments to such an insanely high level, the resultant racket is undeniably thrilling…”

Influences for the album span the full spectrum of the genre with Death Metal, Groove, Metalcore, Progressive and even some Djent stylings being prominent throughout. The tracks are primarily riff driven, taking ideas from bands such as Lamb of God and Pantera and applying them to a much more contemporary, down-tuned crushing template.

With an aggressive lyrical style and delivery, catches and hooks are scattered generously throughout the album with technical lead work and mechanically tight percussion wrapping everything together perfectly.

No Sin hit the ground running with their first two tracks, airing their debut single ‘Age Of Sedation’ on the legendary Johnny Doom’s show via  Planet Rock Radio on Friday 2nd May,  and second release “Roll Up The Royalty” that premiered on June 10th exclusively via Metal Hammer.

Summer and Autumn 2014 saw the quintet playing gigs and  festivals throughout the UK  including, The O2 Academy in Islington- London, UK Tech Fest,  Scotland’s Les Fest, Mammothfest in Brighton and the pinnacle of the UK festival scene, Bloodstock Open Air!  showing how much faith the tastemakers of the metal scene already have in them.

No Sin plan was to crush all in their path.  And with the reaction to the band’s highly original, and all encompassing sound gaining the attention of the big boys, 2014  was exceptionally exciting for No Sin Evades His Gaze.

  • For 2015 the band looked set to match if not surpass their debut year, with a brand new track “Filth” being released to more critical acclaim (Alex Baker-Kerrang radio “heavier than Titanic..in short, this band SLAYS!!) and the accompanying video attracting 10,ooo views within two weeks of its release. In addition to sharing the stage with bands such as Monuments, Xerath, Decapitated, Betraying the Martyrs, Press to Meco, Alaya and DispersE in numerous gigs all across the UK, the band embarked on their first full uk tour joint headlining with their buddies in “Subversion”, selling out every venue.  Summer time saw them invited back to play TechFest with a coveted main stage slot showing just how far they had come in the twelve months since first appearing at this prestigious festival .
